Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
A half teaspoon of hojicha powder (about 1g)
Boiled water 50ml
*Hojicha is roasted green tea.
Method:
1. Pour hot water into a demitasse cup to warm it up.
2. Put the hojicha powder into the cup, and pour boiled water. Then, stir the tea with a spoon.
*Hojicha powder doesn’t taste very good when poured into a big mug with a lot of hot water. However, it is tasty when enjoyed in a small amount using a demitasse or another small cup.
*Tea leaves contain caffeine. The diuretic, stimulant and anticancer effects of caffeine intake are clinically recognized. On the other hand, excessive intake of caffeine may have a damaging effect on health. Especially, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children should be careful with the amount of caffeine they intake.
