Fukamushicha used tea leaf pie #

CHAMART introduces tea recipes, but this recipe has not been verified by a third party. Thus, please use the recipe as a reference.
Time: 1 hour
Ingredients (or tart mold diameter 18cm):
2 heaped teaspoons of organic fukamushicha (deep-steamed tea leave) (about4-6g)
500ml hot water
Tart mold (diameter 7 to 11cm) 2 pcs.
2 pre-made puff pastry sheets (8 x 15cm)
*If using frozen, put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to thaw soft.
130g chicken (thigh or breast) meat (minced port or minced beef is also ok)
1/4 pcs. onion
70〜80g shredded cheese
50ml milk
1 consommé cube
1 tablespoon olive oil or salad oil
5 cherry tomatoes
beaten egg (optional)
Method:
1. Brew sencha tea, take out the used tea leaves and drain. Please refer to the article
How to brew Sencha (steamed green tea) on this site. Put aside the tea to drink later.
2. Preheat the oven to 200C (392F).
3. Apply a thin layer of salad oil with kitchen paper to the inside of the mold.
4. Cut the pre-made puff pastry sheets in half with scissors.
5. Press and spread a half of the puff pastry sheet in the mold.
6. Slice the onion thinly, cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, and cut the cherry tomatoes in half with a knife.
7. Heat a frying pan with 1 tablespoon of olive or salad oil. Sauté the meat, the cut vegetable of step 6 and 1 consommé cube on medium heat stirring often so as not to scorch, until the onions are softened.
8. Add milk and the used tea leaves into the frying pan and heat it for 1 minute at medium heat.
9. Add the shredded cheese into the frying pan and stir them.
10. Put the filling of 9 in the pie sheet of 5.
11. Cover the other half of puff pastry sheet.
Cut a corner of the pie dough with kitchen scissors and place it where there is not enough pie dough.
Press the cover pie dough and the pie dough in the mold to seal with the back of a fork. Then, make holes in the cover pie dough with the tip of the fork.
12. Using a spoon or pastry brush, apply a little beaten egg to the surface of each pastry.
13. Bake in the middle of an oven preheated to 200C (392F) for 20 minutes.
14. Remove the pie from the mold and put it on a dish.
*同じ温度と時間設定にしていても、オーブンの機種や使用年数により焼き加減が変わることがあります。
