Pizza with used tea leaf of Sencha/Fukamushicha

Sencha is lightly or medium-steamed green tea and fukamushicha is deep-steamed green tea.
Ingredients (for 1 person) :
Used tea leaves of organic sencha (1 teaspoon)
1 ready-made pizza crust (17cm)
3-4 cherry tomatoes
Pickled bonito
Shredded cheese
Olive oil
Lemon
*The tea leaves can be from regular steamed or deep-steamed sencha.
Method:
1. Brew organic sencha tea and take out the used tea leaves. Drain the excess water from the tea leaves.

2. Spread a thin layer of pickled bonito on the ready-made pizza crust.
3. Place the drained tea leaves and cherry tomatoes on top, followed by shredded cheese.
Add a small amount of pickled bonito on top of the cheese.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the top and squeeze lemon juice over it.
5. Bake the pizza in the middle rack of a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 10-15 minutes.
*Note: Pickled bonito is very salty, so use sparingly.
*Even if you use the same temperature and time settings, the degree of doneness may vary depending on the oven model and its age. The oven temperatures and times mentioned in this article are only a guide, so please adjust the temperature and time settings to match your specific oven and avoid overcooking or undercooking the food.
*Tea leaves contain caffeine. The diuretic, stimulant and anticancer effects of caffeine intake are clinically recognized. On the other hand, excessive intake of caffeine may have a damaging effect on health. Especially, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children should be careful with the amount of caffeine they intake.
